Jeff Makohon brings a multi-faceted tool kit, including over 20 year of sales, product development, consulting services delivery, and since 2005 extraordinary business entrepreneurship to his role of President of Signature Millwork, a premier architectural millwork company based in Dallas, Texas. Before acquiring Signature Millwork with two partners in 2005, he worked as a Principal with CSC Consulting.
Jeff is very involved in the Dallas area cycling community where he can be found enjoying his recreational passion with his family. A Canadian by birth and Texan at heart Jeff first moved to Texas to attend Rice University. Jeff played golf for the Owls throughout his collegiate career and played briefly on the Nike tour until he began his corporate career.
Melanie Kuhr Murphy brings a unique skill set, including over 30 years of leadership, business development, and human resources experience, to her role as CEO of Signature Millwork, a premier architectural millwork company based in Dallas since 1991. Before acquiring Signature Millwork with two partners in 2005, she worked with such prestigious firms as Proctor & Gamble and EDS.
Melanie is also active in numerous professional and community service organizations, including Women’s Dream Team Network (WDTN), Women Construction Owners and Executives (WCOE), Women’s Business Council – Southwest (WBCS – Architectural, Construction and Engineering section), Dallas Holocaust Museum and Center for Education Development Board Member, Anshai Torah’s Board of Directors. Recently Melanie published her first book, Das Haus in East Berlin, the story of her own family’s journey from Nazi Germany to present day America.
A Cincinnati, Ohio, native and Marietta College graduate, Melanie relocated to Dallas for her fourth and final time in 2009.
